From the Commander

Sir Knights,

The officers and I thank you for electing us to serve you. With your attendance and support we can accomplish much during this Chivalric Year.  The attendance to our installation was outstanding.   I thank all the Sir Knights for their attendance and support.  The fellowship was fantastic, the food (prepared by Chef & Bro. Lee Dematteo & family) awesome, and the installation extraordinary.  Thanks again to PDDGC SK Howard Coleman, Installing Marshall,  R. E. SK. Jon Mayberry Installing Officer, and  Eminent Grand Warder SK David Carter, who conducted the ceremony honoring the flag of our country and Rev. and SK Richard Headley Installing Prelate.   We were honored to have in attendance a distinguished Past Commander of Commandery No 1.  The Grand Master of Masons in Virginia 2007/2008, Most Worshipful George Bernard Dungan, Jr.

Sir Knight Rudolph Griffith

       Commandery No. 1

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.  Stand  firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.  In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
