Masonic Organizations within the District |

The first of two organizations within the York Rite of Masonry in Virginia, this group comprises of six degrees to include Cryptic. Recorded to be the first to confer these degrees in the New World, they meet monthly on the second Tuesday. |

The second of two organizations within the York Rite of Masonry in Virginia, the conclave of the Knights Templar is one of the few uniformed Masonic Orders, meeting within the tenth Chivalric District on the third Thursday every month. |

Fredericksburg Scottish Rite Association Sponsored by the Valley of Richmond, this group meets quarterly on the second Thursday to focus on the 6th Degree or Intimate Secretary degree. Most of its members comes from the Valleys of Alexandria or Richmond, but all are welcomed. |

The Mystic Order of Veiled Prophets of the Enchanted Realm, or Grotto, is an organization by and for Master Masons. It is the playhouse of the craft, where world-worn men can get together, forget their cares, and be, as it were, boys again. |

Meeting monthly on the first Monday, this organizations derives its members from both Acca Shrine in Richmond and Kena Shrine in Fairfax. Its purpose is to involve all Nobles within this area and to support its gem; the Shriners Hospital. |

National Sojourner Chapter No. 545 This order comprises of Officers & Senior NCO’s, both former and active, who are Freemasons and honorary members whose patriotic aims are to perpetuate the idea of true Americanism and to support our armed forces. The Heroes of ‘76 is an honorary degree of this Order. |

Knights of Saint Andrew - Rappahannock Region This organization is a Scottish Rite Order for 32nd degree Masons, whose purpose is to teach moral standards to its members through service and education. Scottish in it’s design and heritage, it’s philosophy is “Service without Reward” and it’s motto is “Service & Leadership”. |
